Our story begins in 2011 when our founder, David, made the move from California to Seattle.
Like many, he started with a humble $1 cup of coffee from McDonald’s, but the vibrant coffee culture of Seattle sparked a passion for something more. Over the years, David’s palate evolved, and so did his quest to find (and create) the perfect cup.
Makario Coffee Roasters was born out of that passion—a love letter to the art and craft of coffee. We aren’t just about roasting beans; we’re about sharing the stories behind them, connecting you to the rich traditions and diverse cultures that make coffee so much more than a drink.
